Guilty until proven innocent.
That’s the way the world works, right?
I’m tired of being convicted without evidence, all because my last name is Gable.
The Riscoffs might own this town, but I’m done following their rules.
If only I could forget just how easily Lincoln Riscoff can drag me under his spell.

Mary’s 4 Star Review

Guilty As Sin is the perfect title for this second installment. I knew that there would be some twists, and turns, but I didn’t expect to get deliriously dizzy from it. This one was just as amazing as the first, maybe even better. In my opinion I enjoyed the depth that book 2 took on. We learned more of the history of what lead to the demise of these families, and the same demise to the future of Whitney, and Lincoln’s relationship. To say true love never dies, would be an understatement. After reading this book I felt a little raw, and wounded. It hit me where it counts, smack in the middle of my heart.

I’m going to make this one short and sweet. I don’t want to spoil anything. Just know that this one begins where the last book ended. A huge secret has been unleashed, and Lincoln feels ultimately betrayed by Whitney. As reader I felt like the author gave us all the details, but I was wrong. Just when I thought I had the entire plot figured out I was thrown for a loop. I wasn’t a fan of the flashbacks. I have to admit I hated reading the heart wrenching beginnings that lead to their first separation. I also felt that Whitney was naive when it came to her family, and her relationships. I loved the book just the same, and really enjoyed where the story took us.

I am looking forward to the next installment especially knowing how this one ended. If you are a fan of Meghan’s like me you won’y want this series to ever end.
