Hate To Love You By Tijan

Title: Hate To Love You

Author: Tijan

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Release Date: August 28th

Rule #1: No hot guys.

It might sound ridiculous. I get it. It kind of is, but college was supposed to be my sanctuary. It was my place to start over. The rumors, the whispers, and the jealousy I endured through high school would all be gone.

No one would know me at college.

Rule #2: No drama.

I’d major in pre-law. I’d make a few loyal friends. Everything would be easy breezy. No one was going to use me or hurt me. I wouldn’t let them.

Rule #3: New year. New place. New me.

And all because of Shay Coleman.

Football captain and quarterback, he was the big guy on campus. The cocky guy in my political science class with a smirk. I hated him on sight . . .

. . . and he was about to break all my rules.

Mary’s 4.5 Star Review

A sweet and sexy college romance + Tijan = a very happy me. She writes the very best, and I have to say that this one was one of her finest. I also have a hard time resisting a hero who plays football. It’s all about the fantasy though. Hate To Love You wasn’t what I expected and hate is a very powerful word and there was nothing I hated about this book. It gave me everything I wanted, and much more. The story was unpredictable, and I enjoyed being pulled into another new adult world.

Kennedy and Shay are not compatible. He’s all flashy, and everyone loves him. He’s the star football player. Kennedy on the other hand, just wants to study, stay somewhat invisible and live the boring college life. She isn’t keen on making new friends, and Shay has made it his priority to make her his. Due to a class project, they must get through they get to know each other. Kennedy is determined to ignore his friendliness, but he’s too persistent, and once she learns more about him. She doesn’t want to miss the opportunity to find out what else she may like about him. It’s a crazy back and forth between them, and the sexual tension is on point. They truly fit together like the perfect puzzle piece.

This isn’t your average college romance. There are a lot of characters thrown in, and a lot of dialogue to go with it. Tijan does drama like no one else, so it all hooked me in.

This book is one to be devoured so be sure to set aside a good chunk of time to enjoy it. I look forward to more from Tijan. Ever since I read my first book from her, I’ve never been the same. Her books are irresistible and this one is no different!!!
