Mary’s 5 Star Review

How do I put into words how wonderful this series is? With each book, I’m transported to a world that I could only dream about. A Vow Of Thorns takes us on a wild adventure that is filled with a lot of intrigue. Did this book live up to my expectations? Did it keep me turning the pages until the very end? Did it give me the feelingest feels? Yes, to all the above.

The book begins where the other ended. No major gaps in the story. Tensley is beginning to care deeply for Molly, and is doing his best not to fall totally in love with her. His history has made him adamant about staying in control over his heart. Acting like he doesn’t have one isn’t working anymore. He can’t deny his attachment to his fiance any longer. Molly is in Paris for school, and the separation just has made their bond that much stronger

I adored Tensley in this book. He really grew from the beginning of the series. It was what I had hoped would happen to his character. Molly also became a tougher, and more heroic as well. It’s as if they finally became one wonderful unit.

If I wasn’t a fan of this series already, I would be after reading the third installment. If you love the paranormal romance like me than you should certainly become familiar with the Blackest Gold Series.

More in the series!

About The Author

R. Scarlett

R. Scarlett lives in a small quaint town in Southern Ontario, Canada and has an unhealthy obsession with mythology and romance.

From studying English literature and minoring in History, she loves losing herself in a good book and snuggling up to her Brittany Spaniel. When she’s not writing or plotting a delicious novel, she can be found hanging out with friends and family, going on long car rides, exploring small towns, or watching reruns of Sex and the City.
