In New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s gripping new novel, a young woman comes home to reclaim her life—even as a murderer plots to end it. . .

It’s been ten years since Sasha Keaton left her West Virginia hometown . . . since she escaped the twisted serial killer known as the Groom. Returning to help run her family inn means being whole again, except for one missing piece. The piece that falls into place when Sasha’s threatened—and FBI agent Cole Landis vows to protect her the way he couldn’t a decade ago.

First one woman disappears; then another, and all the while, disturbing calling cards are left for the sole survivor of the Groom’s reign of terror. Cole’s never forgiven himself for not being there when Sasha was taken, but he intends to make up for it now . . . because under the quirky sexiness Cole first fell for is a steely strength that only makes him love Sasha more.

But someone is watching. Waiting. And Sasha’s first mistake could be her last.

Mary’s 4 Star Review

I love a good second chance romance. When you add the err of mystery and suspense then you can’t tell me, not to read it. Wait, Jennifer Armentrout wrote the book, well I couldn’t grab the book fast enough. If you don’t know this author’s work, then you are missing out. The way she executes a story is much like a masterpiece. It’s a work of art, and Till Death reminds you to check under your bed before you got to sleep, and maybe leave a light on as well.

My favorite part to this story is the undying love the two main characters have. Sasha and Cole were high school sweet hearts when she was abducted by the Groom, a serial killer who did the unthinkable to Sasha. She managed an escape, but couldn’t evade the demons that she received from her horrific trauma. Her relationships with the ones she felt safe with completely changed, and after high school, she left the small town that was home, and never thought she would return. Flashforward ten years, and Sasha is back in town to help run her family’s bed and breakfast. She’s still haunted by the past, and although she’s not the carefree teenager, she once was; she is content with her life. She’s values’ thing’s others might not, and when Cole re enters her life, she rethinks the past. Then when girls start disappearing again it hits too close to home. The fear is there but this time Sasha is ready to fight for both her life and love.

Without giving too much away I just have to say this is a powerful story. It could hear my heart thumping while reading it. I loved all the different endings I had rolling around in my head. I couldn’t predict the ending, and that was a true gift. I didn’t want predictable, and as always Jennifer delivered the very story I was looking for.

I hope we get crazier suspenseful books from this author. If you are looking for a book that will knock your socks off, then this is for you. You just might want to leave a light on!
