Cindy’s 4.5 Star Review

Redemption Road wasn’t your typical love story. It touched on a dark topic that many find difficult to read about. I liked that both characters helped one another overcome the darkness in their lives.

Nathaniel “Rev” Malloy, the club president, goes on a dangerous mission. He must rescue the daughter of  a fellow MC brother from a Mexican Cartel. During the operation he finds Annabel. He has no idea who she is but intends to help her.

Annabel Percy comes from a well known family and has a bright future ahead of her. Until one night the unthinkable happens. The life she knew changes in an instant.

The trauma Annabel endures by the cartel leaves her mentally and physically broken. She has no idea of what will become of her new life. The one person that can understand what she is going through is Rev. Can she turn to him, is Rev the person she needs? Rev feels so undeserving of Annabel that at times he can’t see the own good in himself. In her eyes though, he is everything and more.

I loved that Rev was so different from his brothers. I was able to see a kind hearted man who had all the right words to say. It’s what attracted Annabel to him besides his looks of course. I truly believe that faith had something to do with bringing them together. Katie Ashley did a great job with Redemption Road and I can’t wait for Last Mile.

There’s an aura of sadness about her, a girl in need of all the love Alexandra can give. The moment Deacon sees Alexandra, he has to have her in his bed—and he’s never met a woman yet who couldn’t be persuaded.
